Steps:

2. Enter Start Time (e.g., 9:00 AM)
3. Enter End Time (e.g., 5:30 PM)
4. Enter Break Time in minutes (e.g., 30 for lunch break)
5. Click Calculate

Result shows:

• Total time in hours and minutes format
• Decimal hours (for payroll)

Example: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 30 min break = 8 hours 0 minutes / 8.00 decimal hours

Hourly Pay & Overtime

Use this to: Calculate regular pay, overtime pay, and total earnings

Steps:

1. Select “💰 Hourly Pay & Overtime”
2. Enter Total Hours Worked (e.g., 10.5)
3. Enter Hourly Rate (e.g., $25)
4. Enter Regular Hours Limit (e.g., 8 hours per day)
5. Enter Overtime Multiplier (e.g., 1.5 for 1.5x pay)
6. Click Calculate

Result shows:

• Total hours broken down
• Regular hours and overtime hours
• Regular pay amount
• Overtime pay amount
• Total pay you earned

Example:

• 10 hours worked @ $25/hour with 8 hour regular limit
• Regular: 8 × $25 = $200
• Overtime: 2 × $25 × 1.5 = $75
• Total: $275

Weekly Hours & Pay

Use this to: Calculate total weekly hours and weekly paycheck

Steps:

1. Select “📅 Weekly Hours & Pay”
2. Enter Hours Per Day (e.g., 8)
3. Enter Number of Work Days (e.g., 5)
4. Enter Hourly Rate (e.g., $25)
5. Click Calculate

Result shows:

• Weekly total hours
• Weekly paycheck amount

Example:

• 8 hours/day × 5 days = 40 hours/week
• 40 × $25 = $1,000/week

Shift Calculator

Use this to: Calculate work hours for a specific shift with breaks

Steps:

1. Select “🏢 Shift Calculator”
2. Enter Shift Start Time (e.g., 9:00 AM)
3. Enter Shift End Time (e.g., 6:00 PM)
4. Enter Lunch Break in minutes (e.g., 60)
5. Enter Other Breaks in minutes (e.g., 15 for coffee breaks)
6. Enter Hourly Rate (e.g., $25)
7. Click Calculate

Result shows:

• Shift start and end times
• Total break time
• Actual work hours
• Shift pay earned

Example:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM = 9 hours total
• Minus 60 min lunch + 15 min breaks = 1 hour 15 min breaks
• Work hours = 7 hours 45 minutes = 7.75 hours
• 7.75 × $25 = $193.75

Important Tips

Time Format

• Enter times in 24-hour format or 12-hour format
  • Examples: 09:00 (9 AM) or 17:30 (5:30 PM)

Decimal vs Regular Hours

• Decimal Hours used for payroll (8.5 hours)
• Regular Format for easier reading (8 hours 30 minutes)

Overnight Shifts

• If your shift goes past midnight (e.g., 11 PM to 7 AM), the calculator automatically handles it

Negative Values

• Always enter positive numbers
• If you make a mistake, the calculator will show an error

Change Calculation

• Simply select a different calculator type
• The form resets, ready for new inputs
• Click “Calculate Again” after seeing results
